A new issue of Speculate has been produced and is attached for your information. If you have any newsworthy information from your Chapter, especially with photographs you would like circulated to a large worldwide reader base, just send it to the editor Right Excellent Companion John Pretty at editor@usgcnsw.org.au.
A Special Grand Convocation of Royal and Select Masters is being held at Petersham on Saturday 18th November. This Convocation is open to Companions who have completed the Select Master Degree in the Cryptic Degrees.
The work of the Convocation will be the Select Master Degree. Regalia to be worn is either Royal & Select (Cryptic) or Royal Arch.
A Grand Banquet is being held afterwards in the Main Banquet Hall. The cost is $35.00 and ladies are welcome. A booking form is attached but I will need returns by Thursday as I need to advise the caterer.
A request was made in August for Chapters to nominate Companions for Grand Rank. Nominations were to close on 30th October but have been held open until 15th November. If you need further information please contact me.
Peninsula RAC No 9 is hosting a Combined District Meeting on Thursday 23rd November at Collaroy. The work of the meeting is the Royal Ark Mariner Degree and the Worshipful Commander Noah Installation. There are currently two vacancies for both Degrees. If you wish to take part please contact the District -A3 DGIW, Very Excellent Companion Sam Strykowski at sam@strykowski.com.
