 Chapter Cyrus 2013

Chapter Cyrus 2013, which was established to assist in delivering the Capitular Degrees of the Order to Companions across the jurisdiction, has recently reviewed and has put a proposal to Supreme Committee to change from a licenced body to a warranted Chapter.

It is proposed that the Chapter have a travelling Charter and meet 6 times per year on the second Friday in the even number months.  The principal place of meeting would be at the Petersham Masonic Centre but with a travelling Charter the Chapter would be able to meet at other locations when circumstances warranted.

The main aim of the Chapter is to further Royal and Select Master Masonry (Cryptic Degrees) in the jurisdiction and to that end the majority of the meetings of the Chapter will be directed at working the Select, Royal, Most Excellent Master and Super Excellent Master degrees.

Chapter Cyrus will be consecrated as a Royal Arch Chapter by the First Grand Principal and Grand Master at the Petersham Masonic Centre on 29 July 2017.

As a result of the change from a licenced body to a warranted Chapter, membership is now open to all Royal Arch Companions of two years standing.  Royal Arch Companions who lodge affiliation papers before the consecration of the Chapter will receive favourable consideration in respect of their affiliation fee.
