Masonic Club of South Australia & Northern Territory Donate to Friends of the Egyptian Room

Recently, the Grand Master of South Australian & Northern Territory Freemasons at the Grand Mark Installation made a donation of $500 on behalf of the Masonic Club of South Australia & Northern Territory to the Friends of the Egyptian Room to assist them in their work. In making the presentation to Rt Ex Comp Rob Peattie DGZ, Chairman of the Committee, Most Wor Bro Bob Parsons reflected on the significance of the Egyptian Room to all Freemasons irrespective of the jurisdiction and the necessity of preserving this unique edifice. In response, Rt Ex Comp Peattie thanked the Freemasons of SA & NT for their generosity and spoke of the commitment and dedication of the Committee and the tremendous ongoing support of the members of our Order to its preservation.

Rt Ex Comp Peattie also thanked the Grand Master of SA & NT for the extending the right hand of friendship across jurisdictions on behalf of his members to help the cause of preserving the Egyptian Room.

Rt Ex Comp Peattie invited the Grand Master of SA & NT to our forthcoming Installation to which Most Wor Bro Parsons responded with an immediate acceptance and stated he looked forward to joining us in Sydney on the weekend of 19 to 22 September 2014 for our Grand Installation celebrations. Most Wor Bro Rob Carson, Past Grand Master of SA & NT indicated he and his wife Adele would join his Grand Master in Sydney
