To be of white lambskin 400 mm wide and 355 mm long with a semicircular flap 150 mm at the centre. The border along the sides and the bottom of the apron and of the flap to be of rainbow coloured ribbon, 50 mm wide on the apron and 30 mm wide on the flap. The binding at the top edge of the apron shall be of the same colours 38 mm wide. In the centre of the flap, and in each of the lower corners of the lambskin, there shall be a rosette 50 mm in diameter of rainbow coloured ribbon. [PLATE AM1]
The apron of a Worshipful Commander Noah or Past Worshipful Commander Noah shall be the same as above, except that one rosette in the centre of the flap shall be replaced by an emblem of a triangle, and within it two pillars with a rainbow between them to form the letter “N”, all in gold, the formed letter “N” should be 30 mm by 25 mm. The emblem for a Past Worshipful Commander Noah is the same but should be surrounded by a laurel wreath. [PLATE AM3]
To be 920 mm in length, worn over the right shoulder and passing obliquely to the left side, shall be of rainbow coloured ribbon 100 mm wide. At the lower end of the sash resting as near as possible to the left hip shall be a rosette of rainbow coloured ribbon, below which shall be a gold fringe 75 mm long. [PLATE AM4]
The sash of a Worshipful Commander Noah or Past Worshipful Commander Noah shall be the same except that the appropriate emblem specified for the apron shall replace the rosette. [PLATES AM5 and AM6].
To be of rainbow coloured ribbon 100 mm wide with a gold cord and beehive in centre front, from which shall be suspended the Jewel of Office. [PLATE AM7]
JEWEL OF OFFICE
The Jewel of Office shall be an equilateral triangle and mounted within, all in gold, the appropriate emblem of office (the whole Jewel to be not longer than 55 mm or wider than 50 mm) as set out hereunder:
* The Jewel of Office for a Deacon is therefore an equilateral triangle without any additional emblem. If an equilateral triangle is unavailable a dove within an equilateral triangle may be substituted in its place.
¶ If an axe is unavailable an unsheathed sword pointing upwards may be substituted in its place.
The jewel consists of a representation of Noah’s Ark surmounted by a rainbow and a dove carrying an olive branch in its beak, all in gold. The jewel shall be worn on the left breast pendent from a rainbow coloured ribbon 38 mm wide. [PLATE AM21]
The jewel shall be of the design of a flat metal base, circular in shape, on which shall be the letter “N” within an equilateral superimposed with a crown, the whole surrounded by a laurel wreath all in gold. The jewel shall be worn on the left breast pendent from a rainbow coloured ribbon 38 mm wide. [PLATE AM22] This jewel may be worn by any Excellent Companion who has been the First Principal of a subordinate Chapter, who has been installed in the chair of Worshipful Commander Noah and who has actually worked the Degree as Worshipful Commander Noah whether in his own Chapter or at the invitation of another Chapter.
The sceptre of a Worshipful Commander Noah shall be approximately 250mm long, about 25mm in diameter and to be surmounted by an equilateral triangle or tetrahedron (which may be of skeleton form) with a side length of approximately 25mm and the apex pointing upwards. [PLATE AM23]
The Commander Noah and all Officers present shall wear Royal Ark Mariner Regalia. All Brethren present shall wear either Royal Ark Mariner Regalia or Royal Arch Regalia.
APRON FOR DEGREE CANDIDATES
The Candidate must wear a Mark Master Mason Apron until invested with Royal Ark Mariner Regalia.
