To be of white lambskin from 400 mm wide 355 mm long, with a white pointed flap 152 mm at the point. The border along the sides and on the bottom of the apron and the flap to be of crimson and ribbon about 50 mm wide on the apron and about 29 mm wide on the flap. The binding at the top edge of the apron shall be of crimson ribbon about 38 mm wide. Two gold tassels, suspended from crimson ribbon 50 mm wide, to come from underneath the flap. The belt shall be white. In the centre of the flap there shall be an embroidered five pointed interlaced star (or pentagram) in gold [PLATE EM1]
REGALIA FOR ALL BRETHREN PRESENT WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE CANDIDATE
Irrespective of whether the subordinate Chapter shall have originally opened in the Mark Master Mason Degree or in the Royal Arch Degree: the Worshipful and Excellent Master, all Officers and all Companions present shall wear Royal Arch Regalia (note: the Excellent First Principal and Associate Principals do not wear their robes or crowns nor carry their sceptres in this Degree). Those Brethren present who have been received into the Degree of Excellent Master but have not yet been exalted to the Degree of the Holy Royal Arch shall wear Excellent Master Regalia.
APRON FOR DEGREE CANDIDATES
The Candidate must wear a Mark Master Mason Apron throughout the ceremony until invested with Excellent Master Regalia.
